Click below to see sample Flash Banner Animations that I created myself; the first set is for an online pet medicine company called “1-800-PetMeds” and the second set of examples is from a service known as The Car Care Channel, which looped on large plasma screens in car dealerships and repair shops around the country.

The PetMeds banners are created to be compliant with online ad systems such as Google’s and contain ‘clickTags’ to allow for dynamic redirection and analytics for tracking and so forth.  File size restriction specifications on these types of banners are usually strict, so there is an art to getting the best quality graphics into a very small file which is part of the challenge!

The banners at bottom for the Car Care Channel didn’t have file size restrictions so the graphics are relatively uncompressed and plentiful.  The structure of the service included various interchangeable Flash banner areas that were swapped in and out of fixed zones occupying parts of the screen, based off hard drive, kiosk-type delivery.

Advertiser or other custom-tailored information was dynamically incorporated into the content on these, including photos, text and logos to create a personalized service for each client.  I also edited the raw voice-over audio that was provided to me and synchronized with text displayed onscreen in some examples (you can hear if your speakers are on).
